Dahlia: Hello, Everyone! And welcome to another installment of Character Reviews! I’m Dahlia!

Gordon: And I am her comedic boyfriend, Gordon! And we got another Loud House episode review for you all!

Dahlia: And What is this episode you may ask? Well, it is one of our favorite episodes in season 4. Heck, it’s Gordon’s favorite... A Pimple Plan! Basically, Luan tries to get rid of her Pimple before her date with Benny.

Gordon: Pretty much! What I really like about the episode, is just how the story is executed. Yeah, I am aware that the plot can be quite predictable as Yoshi Player said. But honestly, I didn’t really mind it that much. Sure, it may have been predictable, but here’s the thing. It’s fun to watch!

Dahlia: I thought it was fun to watch too! I loved the different ways that the Louds try to get rid of the Pimple. But they only make it worse! A lot worse! One thing I can appreciate about the episode, is that it didn’t go for the solution of actually popping the darn thing. And in fact, when Lana suggests it, Lisa says it will just spread the bacteria.

Gordon: And I agree, the ways they try to get rid of the Pimple was entertaining. Lisa’s method of doing it, and ending up getting rid of Luan’s scrunched was funny. I did like Lincoln’s way of doing it with the meat. But nope! Charles just really wants that meat, and it was not going to end up well!

Dahlia: And honestly, this may just be the most interesting part of the episode. Well, one of the most interesting parts. I thought it was a nice surprise when Miguel was trying to cover up Luan’s Pimple! I’m not gonna lie, and it may just be me. I was kinda surprised that Miguel’s appearance was not the highlight. Sure, that part wasn’t too funny. But hey, it was a nice surprise to see him again!

Gordon: And, That wasn’t the only thing I liked about the second half. I liked that part with Lola putting the makeup on Mr. Sprinkles. I dunno why, but I found it amusingly.

Dahlia: And then... we see Benny! Now, Yoshi Player might have pointed out that Benny And Luan need layers to this relationship. But... well, here’s the thing. I do like Benny for being supportive. Yeah, we knew that Benny wasn’t going to hate the Pimple. But honestly, if it was about Luna and Sam, and Luna trying to keep it hidden from Sam, would the plot have played out similarly to A Pimple Plan?

Gordon: Probably. And I agree, Benny is just a nice boyfriend for Luan. And it’s not like that it just went with the typical pep talk and just moved on. It was pretty funny went Lola went, “You don’t just so happen to have a little brother, do you?” I thought that was silly. Oh! And speaking of Luna, am I the only one who was kinda put off by Luna? I mean... I understand that she doesn’t wanna pop the Pimple. But she didn’t even try to be supportive of her roommate! Even calling it a monster!

Dahlia: Yeah, I never got the part either. Yoshi Player said that was the only part he kinda liked. Yet I think that is the only thing we did NOT like! Like... I wouldn’t wanna see a Pimple getting popped. But... come on! Even Cris... I know she’d hate to see a Pimple getting popped too, and would be really grossed out by it. But I imagine that she would wanna help Luan in her condition, as long as popping it is not involved!

Gordon: Not to mention... I just don’t find it funny when Luna said these bad things to it. It was... kinda mean spirited. Well, not mean spirited. But it was a little... off putting. I wish it had explained why Luna was so against the Pimple.

Dahlia: Oh well. That aside, I loved this episode! There were plenty of things I found comedic! To the point where I don’t mind the predictability!

Gordon: And to me, Lola’s line during the pep talk did make the predictable pep talk actually pretty funny. Oh, and by the way, Coconuts And Appleblossom being alive is something that came back from Stage Plight.

Dahlia: Yeah, it definitely was comedic! I don’t think the creators ever meant to make it look like the show can’t have nonrealistic scenarios. So... yeah! Overall, aside from Luna’s portrayal, it was a fun episode!

Gordon: These comedic moments, were honestly enough! Plus, the chemistry between Luan and Benny. Heck, even the parts DURING the date was funny! I did like that cotton candy beard. Thought it was a... SWEET addition! Get it?

Dahlia: Ooh, Good one! And... that’s all we gotta say! I think we are comfortable in calling this...

9.5/10!

Dahlia: And... that’s it! Thank you all so much for tuning in for another episode of Character Reviews! I’m Dahlia!
